Saturday, April 25th |

| This is a
workshop in hand tinting your old family photographs.
This is a workshop in using dyes to paint on resin coated prints, available from any photo lab. You will be asked to send 2 scanned files of your ancestors to me prior to the class. The final prints will be ready for you when you arrive. Our aim here is to create 1 or 2 tinted prints ready for framing at the end of the day. You will be able to do this at home at any time with simple materials readily available. Sunday, April 26th This workshop is intended as a more thorough workshop with emphasis on all the methods used in earlier studios - Marshall's oils, coloured pencils and Peerless dyes. This is a great opportunity to get a feel for each method before purchasing materials and for those artists with access to a darkroom, it is particularly applicable. Prints and all other materials will be supplied. |
